Mountainview 4 bedroom condo featuring, three bedrooms with queen beds, sleeping a maximum of 8 guests. A fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher plus all kitchenware and small appliances. Living room has fireplace with satellite Plasma TV and VCR, stereo with cassette and CD player. Patio furniture and a gas barbecue are on the patio. One full bath plus one 3 piece bath with shower and matching towels. All bedding linen and towels are included.
Recently upgraded with all new kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and flooring and new fouth bedroom with a set of bunk beds and single bed. New stacking washer/dryer.
Summer activities include swimming, boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, hiking, fishing, mountain biking canoeing, jet skiing, para-sailing, windsurfing volleyball, tennis, mini-golf, hang/paragliding, airplane rides, and go-carts white water rafting, children adventure parks, canoe tours. Winter activities include skating on lake, snowmobile tours, hockey and public skating and much more. The beach is just a 2 minute walk.
Visit the world reknown Fairmont or Radium Hot Springs for a relaxing swim or soak in the natural odourless pools. World Class Panorama Mountain Village; with the second longest vertical in North America, is where you will find some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding around, and within a 20 minute drive from the condo. Eight other major ski resorts are with-in a one or two hour drive from the condo. Fairmont Ski Resort is a 15 minute drive from the condo.The Windermere Valley is known worldwide as a golfers playground with a wide variety of (12) golf courses to challenge players of all levels.
Other public beaches to visit are, James Chabot Provincial Park, Kinsman Beach and Windermere Beach. The Valley has multitude of dining establishments from fast food to fine dining.
Winter in the valley offers many activities to enjoy; snowmobiling, downhill and cross country skiing, heli-skiing,snowboarding, ice fishing, ice skating, and snowshoeing.
The condo is located in Windermere, 1 1/2 hours drive west of Calgary and 1 1/2 hours drive south of Banff National Park, or 275 km. from Calgary through the scenic Kootenay National Park, through Radium and than on to Windermere.
