One of four converted former fisherman's cottages just 50 yards from the harbour wall in Seahouses. Located in a quiet spot, No. 2 Cliff House Cottages is a cosy bolthole, perfect for a couple. The two storey accommodation is pretty, with a coastal vibe reflecting its past and location. The open plan living area on the ground floor opens up onto a delightful communal courtyard garden with patio table and chairs. Upstairs the vaulted ceiling adds to the charm.
Seahouses is a great location with some good shops, cafes and pubs, a butchers and supermarket. The bustling harbour is just 50 yards away from the cottage, head to the nearby beach or pack up a picnic and head off on one of the walking trails. Visit the impressive Bamburgh Castle which clings to a rocky outcrop, or head to Holy Island and Lindisfarne (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Good golfing (0.5 miles), fishing and horse riding available locally.
